Jam-Packed Weekend

We have had an obnoxious amount of rain here in Arizona over the last week.  I am spoiled with blue skies and lots of sunshine on a regular basis, so a week of rain does not make me happy.  I was super excited when the sun made its presence this weekend, so we decided to spend as much time outside as we can.  Jen and I went on a 6 mile run (we walked the last 2 miles) through the beautiful Sonoran Desert Trail, went to the Scottsdale Train Park, and finished off the weekend at the Phoenix Zoo. Marc got us a membership at the zoo, so we will be visiting that place quite a bit this year.  We had a fantastic, jam-packed weekend!

Deer Valley Airport

Last weekend we took the kids, along with some friends, to the Deer Valley airport.  My coworker, Kendra, is a pilot and invited our entire HR team to come and check out a plane up close.  She even took some of the kids and spouses up for a ride in the air.  We did not do it, but the boys enjoyed watching the planes takeoff and land.  It was a fun way to spend our Saturday.

The Olea family, minus Rosanna, had a great time flying through the air.  Nicholas  even fell asleep!

Merry Christmas 2015

We had an amazing Christmas!  We had family over at our house on Christmas Eve.  Momma cooked most of the food and it was extremely delicious!  We had everyone back over, including the Boileau family, for Christmas morning brunch. The boys were spoiled with tons of presents, but the best part though, was being all together with family.  That is what Christmas is all about!

All the boys slept in until 8:30AM on Christmas morning.  Mason was the most excited this year and the twins loved unwrapping presents.  It was definitely a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day Brunch

 I think the kids need more presents next year...NOT!!!  Time to go through the old toys and donate!
