Vegas Baby!

This is the first weekend Marc and I spent away from the boys and we decided to go to fabulous Las Vegas. We missed our kids like crazy, but it was a much needed vacation. We walked the strip, gambled quite a bit, and ate amazing food. Marc surprised me Saturday night with dinner at Olives at the Bellagio. We watched the fountains from our table and even got to enjoy some time on the patio overlooking the water. This was one of the best tasting restaurants I have ever been to. Just when I thought our date was over, he surprised me again with tickets to see Beatles LOVE, a Cirque Du Soleil show. We had balcony seats, but because the show wasn't sold out, they moved us to the front row!!! We were able to touch the stage and had the acrobatics right in front of us. It was amazing! Our weekend was filled with romance and adult fun, but I was ready to get back to my gorgeous boys. Until we meet again Las Vegas!

Heart Walk 2015

This year my company sponsored the American Heart Association at the Phoenix Heart Walk.  My job was to help coordinate the event and meet our goal of $10,000 as a company.  I was also hoping to have at least 50 employees show up to the event and walk the 5K.  I am proud to say that we raised over $16,000 and we had more than 50 employees and their family members attend.  There was a lot of work involved, but it was awesome to see the end result.  I want to send a big THANK YOU to everyone that donated and helped support this cause.   It was a fantastic day!

Life Lately

Life in the Boileau house is crazy and chaotic, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  Unfortunately we have had all kinds of sickness in this house, but we are all finally starting to get better and things are looking up.  My kids have been living in their pajamas these past few weeks and I think they are absolutely adorable.  I am hoping to have some time and get caught up on this blog, but for now, these few pictures represent life lately in our house.

Our living room is officially the play room.  We hang out here every evening and play with thousands of toys.  Mason makes forts out of the couch pillows, Noah and Dylan are always taking Penny's toys, and Marc and I are down on the floor right there with them.

Mason enjoys playing with his toys on the kitchen table.  We encourage it because his toys have little parts and we don't want the twins to take anything.  Mason likes it because he does not like sharing his toys.  We are working on this.

The twins love playing (sometimes torturing) with Penny.  They play fetch with her.  It is really cute.  They get upset when Penny steals food from their hands, which happens often.

Noah refuses to climb the stairs.  He will cry with his arms up in the air until we carry him.  Dylan cries if we do carry him because he loves to climb up to bed.

This is one of many pictures Marc sent me when I was traveling to Dallas for work.  I missed my babies so much!

We love our evening walks.

Poor Mason got this nasty rash from antibiotics.  It did not effect him in any way, and it looked a lot worse than it was.

These boys are obsessed with Momma and Poppa!  Mason is too!  He loves spending the night at their house.

When Noah is sick, he is cranky and cries a lot.  The pacifier and Mickey Mouse make him happy, so he got a lot of both of those things these past few weeks.

My sister took me to Cirque Du Soleil for my birthday.  We had a fabulous day of mimosas and acrobatics.  Mason had to be in the picture, and yes, he is in pajamas.

We had to get a new car (GMC Acadia) and I love it!  The 3 boys were quite snug in the Kia.  Now we have room to take more people in the car, and we didn't have to buy a minivan!

These were some of my birthday treats.  I have a severe obsession with peanut butter and chocolate, especially white chocolate.

Marc surprised me with a birthday message on the mirror when I woke up.  We were supposed to go up north to Flagstaff and celebrate, but due to lots of snow and Mason getting an ear infection, we had to cancel that trip.  Marc and I have an adults only weekend coming up and I can't wait!

Mason had a stressful day so that is how we justified this glass of wine.  Just kidding!  We put his grape juice in the glass.  I am sure we were getting dirty looks from others around us.

15 Month Check-up

The kitchen is their favorite place to hang out!

Dylan is going through a stage where he needs to be held all the time!

This is how he looks when we don't do what he wants.

I love watching these two play together.

Noah gets so excited and claps every time he puts this toy together.  Mason was clapping for him too.

The boys had their 15 month check-up with Dr. Curley.  They are growing up too fast and I am ready for things to slow down a bit!  They are both super healthy (minus the bugs, ear infections, colds, flus, and whatever else has been going through our house since December).  They are growing perfectly and meeting each milestone at their actual age.  We don't even consider them premature developmentally anymore.  Noah is 30 inches tall (12th percentile) and 23 pounds 13 ounces (66th percentile).  Dylan is 31 inches tall (43rd percentile) and 25 pounds 4 ounces (83rd percentile).  They are loving, adorable, happy little guys and I thank God for them choosing our family every day!

Noah
  • Noah will eat anything we give him from fruits, vegetables, chicken, and anything in between.  He also likes to savor his food and enjoy each bite.  He won't put any new food in  until he finishes what is in his mouth.
  • The toothless wonder is finally getting more teeth!  He now has 4 on the bottom and 6 on top, which includes 2 molars.
  • As long as he is not sick, teething, or tired, he is the happiest munchkin.  He cracks himself up on a regular basis. He's got the biggest, brightest smile and the best belly laugh I have ever heard.
  • He is always cautious and careful about everything, just like Mason.  He won't climb the stairs, run around, or climb anything.  He likes to take his time.
  • He has beautiful curls that remind me of my baby pictures.
  • He LOVES to drink water!
  • He speaks nonstop.  We think he might be a lawyer when he grows up.  Some new words are water, blueberry, bottle, wow, and no way.
  • His favorite thing to do is sit on his little couch and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  He gets super excited for the Hot Dog song.
  • Noah loves to spin around and around until he is dizzy saying "wow, wow".  It is the cutest thing!
Dylan
  • This guy used to be my great eater, but has definitely changed over the past few months.  He won't eat things that look different to him.  Some foods he will put in his mouth, then spit it out immediately.  Other times he will chew it up and then spit it out. When he does enjoy something, he will shove as much of that food that he can fit in his mouth.  We can't leave him alone with food!   A new trick we learned is to give him the fork and let him feed himself, one bite at a time.  He gets a little frustrated because it is not as fast as he likes, but it seems to be working.  This has worked for about a week now, but feeding Dylan is no longer fun.  I hope this trick lasts!
  • This guys has almost a full set of teeth.  Every time I look in his mouth he has new teeth, including 4 molars.
  • Dylan has recently started throwing temper tantrums.  If he doesn't get his way, he throws himself on the ground and fake cries.  He looks up to see if we are paying attention, and then fake cries again.  He just might be an actor when he grows up.  He loves attention!
  • This one is the opposite of careful.  He climbs everything and has no sense of fear.  He is going to give us a run for our money!
  • He has the most beautiful smile and the biggest blue eyes out of all of my boys.  His sweet face makes my heart melt.  Look out girls!  (I feel this way about all my boys because they are a gorgeous bunch!)
  • He LOVES water too, except when his whole body is submerged.  He splashes it everywhere while giggling and squealing with delight.
  • Dylan speaks a lot more now.  His new words are water, happy birthday, blueberry, bubbles, bottle, and daddy.
  • His favorite thing to do is sing Happy Birthday.  He sings it a hundred times a day.  This song calms him down when he is crying and upset.  It is hysterical that this is his favorite song.
  • Dylan also loves to dance.  If there is music, he is shaking his groove thang!
It is crazy that these boys were made at the same exact time and have so many different personality traits.  Both of them have common characteristics with Mason too.  I am so in love with my family, including their adorable personalities!
