Disney Day #4

This is the day that we were able to enter Disneyland an hour earlier then the park opened. Apparently we were not the only people that had this special access.  The park was already filled with people by the time we got in.  We decided to head straight to Fantasy Land and ride all of the "kid friendly" rides.  I use this term loosely because I think Snow White and Pinocchio were more scary than some of the adult rides!  We did enjoy Peter Pan and some of the other classics.  We also decided to head back to Toon Town since the twins missed out the first time we went.  We got to meet Mickey Mouse at his house, which made the kids very happy.  This is the first day that we left the park to head back to the hotel for a much needed nap for the kids and the adults as well.  We were beyond exhausted at this point and were determined to make it to the night time parade.  When we woke up, we headed to California Adventure for some boardwalk fun.  We ended our evening with an awesome 60th celebration parade.  The faces on my boys were of pure joy.  I had more fun watching their reactions than the actual parade!  This is what Disney is all about!

They were ready to move in to Mickey's house.

Dylan was definitely not happy taking pictures.

We went on It's a Small World.  Mason still sings the song today because you hear it over and over again throughout the entire ride.

Austin was not happy that we went on this ride.

All kids were getting cranky at this point.  They did not want to sit for anymore pictures!

Noah loved the Mickey Ferris Wheel.  He would say, "Weeeeeee" when the cart would sway.

The parade pictures do not do it justice.  We watched it on YouTube before we went to Disney as well, but nothing compares to seeing it live and being in the moment.

Disney Day #3

This morning we decided to sleep in a bit and catch up on some much needed rest.  Sleeping in wasn't as late as we would have liked since Noah woke us up at 7:30.  (We didn't get to bed until after midnight the night before because of the whole air conditioning debauchery.)  We started our day at Adventure Land and all three kids loved the Jungle Cruise.  This was definitely a favorite for everyone!  We also spent a good portion of the day at Toon Town.  The twins missed out on this because they were very tired and fell asleep in the stroller.  Since it was so hot outside, we parked their stroller in an air conditioned store and took turns staying with them.  Mason loved Toon Town and got to visit Mickey's house, Donald's boat, and Chip and Dale's Treehouse.  We also went on the Roger Rabbit ride.  Since Disneyland was closing early for Mickey's Halloween party, we headed back to California Adventure.  At first I was bummed that the tickets for the party were sold out, but we had so much to see and do that I did not feel like we missed out on much.  At California Adventure we got to see an awesome parade with all of the kids' favorite characters and head to their favorite rides again.  We spent the evening at Downtown Disney eating at a delicious Italian restaurant and exploring all the cool stores. Another fun day in the happiest place on Earth!

We started our morning out with mini donuts.

All the boys were happy with this breakfast choice.

Loving the Jungle Cruise.

These boys and I decided to climb Tarzan's tree house.

Mason did not want to ride Dumbo, but he was fine sitting on the stationary one for a photo op.

Mason got very shy at first and did not want to hug Goofy.  Goofy started copying him, and then he was all smiles.

The twins were sleeping at this point.  They would have been all over Goofy!

Toon Town is adorable!

We all loved the parade!

Dylan was in heaven at the biggest Disney Store ever!  He found the stuffed animals and snuggled every one of them!

This is Steven's new Lego girlfriend. Lol!
