Such a Great Day!

Last night was really rough for me because I wasn't feeling well, I had crazy, scary, vivid dreams, and then woke up at 3 AM and couldn't go back to bed.  Needless to say I was anticipating a horrible day at work.  When I got into my classroom, I had flowers, sweets, and presents! (Check out Edward Cullen behind the cake!  I am such a 12 year old at heart!) LOL!  My students made me pictures and sang Happy Birthday!  My birthday isn't even until tomorrow.  It made me completely forget about my bad night:-)  I am very grateful for such wonderful coworkers, students, and friends!  Noname got a gift too from "Mama Bear" Camille!  This is turning into a wonderful day after all.  I am looking forward to an exciting birthday weekend.  Thank you!

11 Weeks and a Belly!

This is going to take some getting used to!

11 weeks today and my belly is popping out!  It could also have to do with all of the amazing sweets I ate this weekend:-)  I have gained 4 pounds so far, but man it feels like a hundred.  When you are only 5 foot 1 inch, 4 pounds is a lot.  I am just embracing my body changes and enjoying the more voluptuous figure I now have.  The next ultra sound is set for March 2.  I am really excited to see my little " Noname" again!  The doctor said that we can find out the sex at 18 weeks.  Any guesses on whether Noname is a boy or a girl?

Good times and some good laughs!

On Saturday, Jaime, Brooklyn, Amelia, and I went out for high tea at a small little tea room in Glendale.  We had delicious tea, awesome food, and lots of laughs!  It is so much fun talking about babies and weddings (Brooklyn's is coming up in November:-).   I love you girls:-)

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  I had an amazing doctor's visit today.  I was able to hear the heartbeat of our little nugget.  Noname (No-nah-me), that is what we call our nugget because we can't agree on any names, had a healthy heartbeat of 168 bpm.  I am 10 weeks along and feeling great!  I have another appointment March 2, which will be at the end of my first trimester.  We will have our second ultra sound along with some blood tests.  I can't believe how fast things are going.  I am just trying to enjoy each moment:-)

Thank you Marc for being an amazing, caring husband.  You have been extremely supportive throughout this pregnancy and I am beyond grateful to have you in my life.  You are going to be the best father!  Thank you for my beautiful roses.  Happy Valentine's Day honey!

Baby Gifts, Already?

It has been so hard not buying everything!   I agreed to let Marc get this, but I will be the one dressing the baby.  Just kidding:-)  Baby Boileau will be a Giants fan and a Cowboys fan.   Marc promised to find a NY Giants outfit for the baby.  Poor kid is going to be so confused during football season!

Thanks Aunt Brooklyn and Uncle Teddy!  This is going to be the baby's favorite blanket because it is super soft and has the cutest turtles.  We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful family and amazing friends!  Baby Boileau is going to be spoiled:-)

9 Weeks Pregnant

Baby Boileau is on the way!  Marc and I are super excited and enjoying each step of the way.  We found out that we were pregnant on New Year's Eve.  When Marc got home from work, I had a bib on my belly that said "My Dad is Cooler Than Your Dad".  He thought it was another outfit for Penny.  LOL:-)  When he realized it wasn't for Penny, but for a baby, we were both extremely happy.  At 6 weeks, we were able to see the healthy heartbeat of 118 bmp.  I am very fortunate to be feeling really well and I hope and pray it stays this way throughout the entire pregnancy.   My next doctor's appointment is February 14.
