San Diego Day #7

Since my boys spent most mornings sleeping, this day after my early morning stroll, Momma and I had a nice, quiet breakfast together on the hotel patio.  After breakfast, the kids went swimming in the hotel pool before we headed to the beach.  We were only at the beach for a couple of hours before we spontaneously decided to go to Sea World.  Momma and Poppa stayed in Coronado for a peaceful dinner while we went to the theme park.  Good times!

Noah was not in the mood for pictures!

I finally got to ride the Manta roller coaster and it was well worth the wait!  Every time we went to Sea World, I was either pregnant or no one was able to watch the kids.  Thanks Mommy for watching the boys so we could go on all the big rides!

Silly Austin!

San Diego Day #6

This is the day that the rest of our crew joined us.  We spent the morning taking the city bus to the other side of the island.  The kids loved the bus, especially because there were no car seats.  We walked out on the pier and saw the USS Midway.  We even let the boys play in the bay for a bit.  By the time we got back to our hotel, Momma, Poppa, and my mom had arrived just in time for lunch. After we ate, Auntie Jaime, Austin, Steven, and Erin (Austin's girlfriend) arrived as well.  We immediately headed over to the beach for some fun in the ocean.  I was really happy to have everyone together as we celebrated Poppa's 86th birthday!

Waiting for the bus.

Playing in the bay.  The twins liked the calm water, but Mason wanted the waves.

My little men!

We just couldn't get enough beach time on this trip!

My gorgeous nephews!  When did they grow up?!

I can't believe how much these guys slept!

I asked Mason to pose like a model and he proceeded to make gestures like a mime.  After I stopped laughing, I explained like a model in a magazine.  The pictures below were his own poses as a model.  He is a natural!

I only posted a few, but he kept going and I have tons of his "modeling" pictures.

For those keeping track, yes this is our third time at Moo Time.  We may have a problem!

Silly boys!

San Diego Day #5

I was able to enjoy another morning alone on the beach, and the rest of my clan woke up just in time for breakfast.  We decided to take a break from the beach today and walked to a park in the middle of the island.  The boys had a great time.  Today was very relaxing as we were saving our energy for tomorrow when Momma, Poppa, my mom, Auntie Jaime, Austin, Steven, and Erin (Austin's girlfriend) joined us in Coronado.

Dylan went down this slide a thousand times!

Noah wanted Mason to push him on the swing.

We got the kids pizza and sat on the balcony of the hotel while Marc and I enjoyed our own happy hour.

Then we headed to the Del for a delicious dinner for Marc and I.  This was our view!

Thank goodness for technology and WiFi!  These boys were very content while Marc and I enjoyed ourselves.

A little late night stroll along the beach.

The quality is not so good, but at least we got all five of us in a picture.

San Diego Day #4

The ocean air must really make my family tired, because again, they all slept in until after 9:00 this morning.  Since I woke up early, I decided to go for a 2 mile run along the shoreline.  This was the most beautiful setting for a run and I enjoyed the quiet time to myself.  These boys never sleep in so late on the weekends in Phoenix!  After breakfast, we decided that this entire day was going to be spent at the beach.  Mason learned how to boogie board, we collected seashells, made more sand castles, and just enjoyed each other's company.  This was yet another fabulous vacation day!

Ready for our walk to the beach.

The beach at the Del is a long a walk until you are close to the water.  Needless to say Noah was not happy with walking on the sand for so long.  That face though!

Mason and Marc spent a lot of the time in the water, so I got to hang with these babes.

Noah showing off the seashells that he found.  The twins were adamant about making shell paths so Dory could find her way home.  They were so cute about it.  Unfortunately they didn't strategically place the shells because the waves kept messing it up.  They were still adorable nonetheless!

My little professional boarder!  Maybe he found his calling.

I can't get enough of these two.

No more pictures Mommy!

All cleaned up and ready for dinner.

And another trip to Moo Time.  (No judging!)
